Location Update: We went to the Board of Select(wo)men on Monday July 9th and received a positive response, but needed to do some more work before getting a vote on the lease. Thanks to Leilani Dalpe (chair), John Knowlton (vice-chair), Allin Frawley and Neil Rosenthal (and Diane Stewart who was on vacation at the time of the meeting) for their positive comments and their support of the idea. Also thanks to Karen Foye and MCCAM, Middleboro's local community cable access group, who agreed to share some of their future studio with us.
We are going before the Board of Select(wo)men again this coming Tuesday, July 17th to ask for an official lease for a room in the Middleboro Bank building. Once that happens, everything will really take off! Funding Update: as you can see to your right, we're now at $1,371 thanks to a large $500 donation and a whole bunch of $20, $50, and $100's. THANKYOU SO MUCH to all of you for believing in this project.
