Christopher L. Van found his love of making things and self motivated learning at age 5 on the family hand-me-down Apple ][. He learned Apple BASIC which lead to over 27 other programming languages as time went on (And counting) on Apple, Windows & Linux operating systems and other environments.  After selling some of his software to a major entertainment company he studied commercial I.T. management/deployment and electrical engineering. He then discovered his love of teaching and knack for explaining concepts in college at the age of 16 (Massasoit A.R.C.) where he tutored in every programming language offered and operating system design. He left to focus on building his company and consulting business which allowed him to continue to pursue other passions and apply his skills in a multitude of environments within various markets (Oil, Real Estate, Industrial printing, Medical, Education, Game development, Legal, Metal casting, Mechanical engineering and fabrication(Prototyping), electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, 3D printing and modeling, lock smith/securit, Virtual Reality/augment reality development & Cyber security consulting). Recently, Christopher has focused on returning to education by consulting, mentoring, speaking and teaching STEM sessions for a number of local universities, Brockton Public Library & various community nonprofits while still remaining president of Central Square Technologies, Inc where he is still is heavily involved with downtown Boston consulting and surrounding areas.

Mostly self taught, two of his favorite quotes inspire him to share his knowledge:

“Be the person you needed when you were younger.”― Ayesha Siddiqi

"If you can't explain it simply you don't understand it well enough" -Commonly attributed to Albert Einstein but often contested or not supported.
